How to Unlock the Pit of the Artificers

Level Requirement: Reach level 60 with any character.

Quest Activation: A quest titled "Pit of the Artificer" will appear in your log.

Location: Travel to Cerrigar and interact with the stone in town to begin.

Pit of the Artificers Overview

Gameplay Mechanics

Objective: Defeat a certain number of enemies to unlock the boss fight.

Time-Limited Runs: You must complete the dungeon within a set time limit (15 minutes).

Death Penalty: Each death reduces the remaining time, with penalties increasing per death.

 

Unlocking New Tiers

Your performance determines how many tiers you unlock during a run:

 

6+ Minutes Left: Unlocks 5 tiers.

4–6 Minutes Left: Unlocks 3 tiers.

<4 Minutes Left: Unlocks 1 tier.

 

With 150 levels available, there's a significant challenge for high-end players.

 

Unlocking Higher Torment Difficulties

Torment world difficulties are now linked to your progress in the Pit:

 

Torment I: Complete Level 20.

Torment II: Complete Level 35.
