Which do you prefer more? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each and what's the difference in their styles of play?

1, Resource management - Both builds suffer from serious mana issues prior to the 1445 set. Emperor is believed to recuperate more quickly after OOM is in place, since it spends much of its time playing Checkmate and draws greater Star as well as Moon cards. Stacks aren't much of a factor for Emperor's builds, as you can only have one red skill available to trigger Ruin.

2, Rotation Empress offers a less complicated rotation and offers some flexibility in the way you utilize certain abilities. This is due to the fact that your cards require that you think ahead to maximize damage. Emperor is extremely high in APM however the rotation seems rigid. Also, each skill in Emperor serves an important role and should be used in the proper sequence, however for Emperor it's not anything to worry about when you make use of the wrong red or blue skill that isn't in the proper priority. Cooldowns are an issue with flow for the moment, but without properly designed cooldown gems.

3, Cards The cards feel like they are important more in Empress, since they need to be in the right combination, but for Emperor, it's like I'm often throwing away my cards in order to make it easier to reach Emperor quicker. Of course, it is still possible to use effects of cards in Emperor, but these same effects affect the Empress's rotation more (because they largely influence the generation of stacks, which are not relevant for Emperor).

4, DPS Empress is better single-target DPS, but it is discarded by Emperor in the Chaos Dungeon. Emperor's single target damage isn't much in comparison, however it feels awful to draw Judgment and not be able to draw Emperor. In terms of variance, Emperor seems like it's got lower points than Empress.

5, Mobility - Empress is at full speed. Empress has the feel of a melee class and is required to remain in mid-range throughout the game. Emperor is able to dive in and out regularly.

6, Fun I've found the Emperor to be more enjoyable because it fulfills the class's identity is. Today, I was able to play my Awakening five times because it would draw Wheel or Fortune or Royal into Wheel of Fortune. This is just pure fun. If you love seeing your Serendipity Crit 3 times to get massive numbers on a Judgment Card, Empress is a better choice for you.

7, Difficulty I find both of them extremely difficult in various ways. Empress is a challenge because you have to be using your brain to construct a two-card combination, while with Emperor requires you to pay more at your playing style otherwise everything will fall off.
